Stepping Down (For a bit)

When I first created FK, I had a vision for a safe haven for fictionkin, free from Tumblr drama, but I feel the site has changed. While some people might be more comfortable, others seem to be less comfortable...including me.

So I've decided I need a break from the site, since I feel it's no longer healthy here for me. I'll still be around if my attention is needed regarding any issues, but I'm going to be a lot less involved for now. This may last a week, or it may be for good. We'll see.

I will still do my best to make sure the site keeps running, however, and if need be, we can appoint more (new) staff. I will continue discussing this with the administrators, and we will make this work.

I can't change my admin status yet for security reasons, but I'm effectively no longer an admin.

I guess that's that.

I will hopefully be returning soon. I actually really miss this place! I just need a little more time to recoup, especially since my idol from when I was 17 (Pete Burns, the singer who sang "You Spin Me Round") recently passed away, and so I'm dealing with the loss of one of my idols right now.
