Rule #1 and Associated Consequences Edited

Due to some recent issues we have had, Rule #1 has been edited to include harassment of members on or off-site. It now states:

1. There should be no threatening or swearing that's intended to be hurtful, at staff or other members. Foul language in general should be kept to a minimum. Any harassment on or off site of members will not be tolerated. If you feel you have been harassed, you may take a screenshot and submit a ticket including the image for staff or PM a staff member with the image. This extends to sites such as Tumblr, Facebook, Skype chats, and other forums. Harassment is a very serious offense, and will result in a swift ban.

The detailed consequences for this (located in the following rule post) now state:

Threatening Members Or Staff On This Site Or Our Members or Staff Other Sites will generally result in a permanent ban. If you are putting a member of Fictionkin Dot Com in danger, or even threatening to, we will take this very seriously, no matter where this is occurring. We do not want any of our participants in any sort of danger, and measures (such as perma-banning) WILL be taken to ensure that our members are comfortable and safe.

We plan to adhere to these rules, and this edit will be effective as of 7/26/15, at 1:40 PM Central Standard Time. To remain fair, any events and consequences that occurred before then will not be changed.
